Bitter rivals Asante Kotoko have struggled to grab decent results in Dormaa as they have failed to win a game in their past two visits and three in both sides last four meetings across all competitions.
Before the game, the Porcupine Warriors who are also chasing the title were joint on top of the table with Hearts of Oak but the only goal difference was separating the two so the Kumasi had all there is to play for.

Drawing just two games after 12 matches and picking ten wins at home so the Dormaa based side are very solid at home and any team that will visit there must do a lot to break their unbeaten home record.
Aduana FC played a goalless draw game with Asante Kotoko at the Nana Agyemang Badu I Park.
Both teams had some decent chances that if were buried well would have changed the narrative but the end result game out a fair technical impression by both head coaches.
Playing a goalless draw means Kotoko remains second in the table with 47 points whilst Aduana Stars’ 40 points eighth position after 21 games.
Third-placed side Accra Great Olympics had to rally their way back to grab a point against fourth places side Karela United at the CAM Park at Aiyinase.
The home side put themselves ahead after striker Dewiase Taylor stepped put to connect a penalty on the 10 minute before Samuel Ashie level matters for the away side. Both managed the second half well to share points.

Hearts of Oak, Kotoko, Accra Great Olympics, and Karela United are the top four teams fighting tooth and nail to win this season’s Ghana Premier League.
With seven more matches to end the league, the top four teams need to do more to win the league.

For over two decades now Accra Great Olympics have not won the league having been threatened by relegation so many times but look very much poised to changed the narrative this season.
