Rev Isaac Owusu Bempah, founder and leader of the Glorious Word and Power Ministry, has rubbished reports that he’s worth $1.5m bragging that the amount quoted is peanut as he is worth more than that.
An article containing the list of the richest pastors in Ghana made news this past week.
That list named head of Action Chapel International as the richest pastor in Ghana with a $6.9 million and quoted Reverend Owusu Bempah with $1.5m at eleventh.
But responding to the content of the article, the founder of the Glorious Word and Power Ministry describing it as child’s play as it isn’t a true reflection of his net worth adding that he would have quit his job if that was true.
“The other day I saw some list of rich Ghanaian pastors and I was 8th. They valued me at $1.5m. I laughed it off because the people thought I started just yesterday. What is $1.5m? I would have stopped [my ministry]. All the suffering I have endured just for $1.5? They should have rated me $5m. Even with that, I would have laughed it off. We don’t want to brag,” he said.
