Famous prophet, Nigel Gaisie, has said some interesting things concerning the way of life of Ghanaian Christians.
In an interview on his TV station, he said that prayers will not make people rich else prayer warriors in a number of churches will be some of the richest people in the world.
The prophet has made it clear that the mentality that some Ghanaians have that prayer is going to make them rich.
“Prayers don’t make you rich… if prayers make people rich, prayer warriors would have been richer. If prayers make people rich, I would have been the richest, wealthiest man on earth because growing in my life as a young man, prayer was my daily delicacy”, he said.
He then continued, “But prayer will not make you rich. I hope you get me, there are deeper things to do than prayer.
‘Righteousness does not make you rich, holiness does not make you rich. So there are deeper things”.
Prophet Nigel Gaisie has been known to be one of the most controversial of prophets in Ghana due to the number of rumors and allegations that surfaced over the years.
Some time back, the controversial musician cum businesswoman, Mzbel, accused the prophet of rapping her.
According to her, the prophet called her to her room for a prayer session and this led to her getting molested s*xually.
The Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong also came out with some allegations with the intent of exposing the prophet and others who were in his league.
As time passed by, the prophet was not arrested or prosecuted in court for any of those allegations.
Coming back to the prophet’s comments, prayer does enough but it definitely does not give riches to people because to be rich depends on effort and luck.
