The unfortunate demise of the former manager of one of Accra’s dominant radio stations, Radio Gold, has passed on suddenly.
Not much is reported of his demise, however, information suggests that he succumbed to a short illness. Mr. Kwesi Sainti Baffoe Bonnie. He was aged 70.
Mr. Baffoe Bonnie was the CEO and founder of Network Broadcasting Company Limited, which owned and operated Radio Gold.
He also served as a Presidential Staffer at the Office of the Vice President, John Mahama during the Mills Administration.
He was born and raised in the Western Region in 1950 and attended the Univesity of Cape Coast where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History.
He was appointed Board Chairman of the Ghana Air Catering Services from 2006 to 2007.
He was the Chief Executive Officer of Network Broadcasting Company Limited: the operator of Radio Gold 90.5fm in Accra, Ghana from 1995 to 2008.
He was appointed the Senior Political Advisor to the Vice President of the Republic of Ghana; His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, from 2009 to 2012.
From 2012 to 2016, Mr. Baffoe-Bonnie served as a Presidential Staffer and Senior Advisor on Political Affairs to the President of the Republic of Ghana.
