Hawkers at the Kasoa Tollbooth had a shock of their lives when two boys fought with them for killing a snake that sneaked out of their Vehicle.
According to eye witnesses, the boys suspected to be Sakawa boys packed a brand-new White Benz car at the toll booth, and to the shock of onlookers, a very huge snake crawled out of the car.
Terrified at the sight of the dangerous animal, the hawkers mastered courage and killed the snake.
This angered the owners of the Benz who rushed unto the Hawkers to teach them sense.
Some eye witness say when the snake came out it tried to vomit money which frightened them,hence their decision to kill it.
People who are familiar with snakes say that particular type of snake is used for spiritual purposes, specifically money rituals.
In other news, A woman has been arrested after drugs with an estimated value of Rs 8 million was found on her at Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam Airport in Mauritius.
The suspect is said to have had the drugs hidden in her private part.
The woman was arrested when coming from Reunion after being alerted of the “suspicious behavior” of the woman.
After being intercepted, the woman, 34-year-old Nokuphila Mtshali, reportedly introduced herself as a businesswoman who would be on the island for five days.
The officials searched her and found three plastic-wrapped bundles in her private parts containing 528 grams of heroin.
She later cooperated with the police, who arranged a fake delivery with fake which led to the arrest of her gang members.
Two Nigerian men, Ndubuisi Samuel Ebielonwu, 33, and Eze Collins, 31, were arrested when the police raided their hideout.
An iPhone and cash in rands, Mauritian rupees, US dollar, and naira picked at the scene of the arrest.
The suspects appeared before the Bail and Remand Court on a charge of drug dealing with aggravating circumstances and importation of drugs with a warning of trafficking.
