BREAKING: Al Hilal Vrs Kotoko CAF Champions League Match Called Due To Coronavirus

Asante Kotoko SC CAF Champions League return leg game against Al Hilal has been called off following a missing Covid-19 test result.

Earlier, seven players and four officials of Kotoko tested positive for covid-19 in Sudan.

But according to Kotoko one of their player’s test results was not provided by the Sundanese Hospital which has affected the number of players required by CAF to feature for the match.

Kotoko wrote on their official Twitter handle:

‘Kindly note that without the result of the outstanding player, @AsanteKotoko_SC  cannot raise a team of the required players needed to play the #CAFCL’

And later added:

‘Hilal vrs Asante Kotoko Game called off as we await CAF decision.

‘Asante Kotoko has officially petitioned CAF on the overwhelming anomalies Association with our covid 19 results.

‘Details soon.’

According to Kumasi Based Radio Station Light 94.9 FM; the list of those who tested positive are.
