Prophets Ask Nana Addo To Set Aside A National Day Of Prayers And Fasting

Ghanaian men of God have begun the new year by shoving their request down the President’s throat.

A few days to the swearing-in of the President-elect Nana Akufo Addo, a Kumasi based prophet has asked the president to set aside a national day of fasting and prayer.

According to the General overseer and Leader of New Jerusalem Chapel (NJC) in Kumasi, Bishop J. Y Adu has asked the President to choose a day and declare it as a day  National Day of fasting and prayers.

The man of God to buttress his comment mentioned that to avert the bloodshed and evil that is looming in the country this year, religious bodies should partake in this prayer and fast.

He added that Ghana managed to experience the worse of the deadly coronavirus because the President had at the beginning declared a day of fasting and prayers

He stated: “Tell the President that he must declare a national day of fasting for Ghana to redeem the country from evil and unnatural accident and bloodshed.

‘If he does it as he did in the early days of COVID-19, things will change”.

Bishop J.Y went ahead to prophecy saying; “When he (the President) announces it, and Ghanaians go by it and fast, we shall be freed. The devil is preparing to strike in some countries of West Africa”.

He added another statement saying that the West Africa region is going to experience two successive coup d’état but Ghana will be exempted.

“I can see two successive coup d’états in some countries in West Africa. I have said that in this country, terrorists shall continue to operate but anyone who makes an attempt will be arrested.

‘People shall be imprisoned for orchestrating so many demonstrations of terrorism in the country”
