The Ghanaian comedy industry has been graced with a number of people who have shown their great talent and skill and have been able to make a number of memorable times for Ghanaians new and far.
Some of these people include the late Bob Santo, Abusuapanyin Judas, Agya Koo, Kyeiwaa, and others.
There were some of the people of the older generation who were able to pave the way for the like of Lilwin, Kalybos, Bismark the Joke, and others to make themselves known.
Today we are going to compare the two to find out who is more successful in the comedy field between the old legend, Akrobeto, and the new legend, Lilwin.
First on the list is the legendary Akrobeto. Akwesi Boadi is his name. He was a founding member of the ‘cocnut group + bird squad’ of the Kristo Asafo drama group.
The founder of the group was Apostle Kwadwo Safo in the late 1990s, along with Kofi Adu, famously known as Agya Koo, Mercy Asiedu, and Nkomode.
The group performed in the Key Soap Concert Party at the National Theater. In the year, 2008, Akrobeto began making his appearance in Kumawood movies.
His legendary comedic and acting skills got him more fame in Ghana as one of the best actors and comedians to ever live in Ghana.
He became so popular via YouTube in November 2020 when clips of him reading sports results from European football leagues went viral.
He has been in movies like Away Bus, Chain of Death, Awo Yaa Kyeiwaa, and others.
Next on the list is Lilwin. Kwadwo Nkansah, famously known as Lilwin is known as a comedian, actor, and musician.
According to some Ghanaians, he is known to be the one who put down the career of the famous Agya Koo since he was new in the movie scene.
However, one will consider that Agya Koo is one of the best actors in the history of Ghana.
Lilwin has been in movies such as Akurase Tumi, Wrong Turn 3, Onaapo, Emre bi, and others.
Looking at the two, one may wonder who is really more successful as compared to the other.
