Ace Ghanaian actor Waakye christened Prince Yawson is celebrating his graduation from Bible school.
The veteran actor graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Theology from the “My Life Theology University” in Accra.
In an interview at the graduation, Waakye said many men of God have spoken to him in time past that he’ll one day work for God hence when he found himself in the Bible School to pursue his calling as a Preacher it didn’t come to him as a surprise.
Waakye is one of the entertainers who graced the tv scenes and made our childhood a memorable one. He has featured in many local TV series and films including Obra, Yaa Asantewaa, Chorkor Trotro, Jagger Pee, Living Arts Show, Ogboo, Man Woman, and Diabolo.
The actor had recently recovered from a stroke which almost cost him his life. During that period posts emerged online pleading with the public to offer monetary help to the veteran.
But controversial musician turned politician A-Plus christened Kwame Asare Obeng reacting to such post on Facebook said he is capable of extending help to the actor but with Waakye being a strong NPP supporter, he will have to withdraw his decision to offer help.
His defense for not extending a helping hand to the veteran actor comes after his dismay on the failure of the New Patriotic Party to come to the aid of one of their strong celebrity figures who has stood by them campaigning when the party has been stealing state money.
But not long after his recovery, the veteran actor was seen campaigning for the New Patriotic Party on the streets of Accra a few weeks to the General Elections where the party won its bid to a second term.
