Some parts of the Tamale branch of the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) have reportedly been destroyed fire.
Reports say Computers and other important documents and properties of the DVLA were burnt into ashes.
Private companies and shops working at the DVLA premises have also been affected by the fire outbreak.
According to some workers at the DVLA premises, there was a wire problem and of which they reported to VRA.
They believe the faulty wire might have caused the fire outbreak.
Confirming the incident, Assistant Station Officer of the Sagnarigu Fire Service station, Baba Hudu , said an ambulance driver called to report the fire outbreak at the DVLA office. And Officers were immediately dispatched there.
He added that the cause of the fire cannot immediately be known, adding that they have commenced an investigation to ascertain the actual cause of the fire outbreak.
