Ghanaian musician, Kuami Eugene seems to have sparked another rumor for the public.
Not long ago, he featured in the song by Sarkodie titled, “Happy Day”. Rumors then came out that the song was an endorsement song for Nana Addo and the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
However, Kuami Eugene came out to say that he was not aware of the song being an endorsement song for the NPP or the president of Ghana, Nana Akufo Addo.
As for Sarkodie, he passed no comment on the issue until the president decided to send a thank you message to him on his page.
When Sarkodie saw the message, he replied to the president saying that the song was not meant to be an endorsement song for him or any other government official.
As to whether it was true or not that the two had really made an endorsement song for the NPP, not one knows.
However, another musician, Samini, was under backlash from Ghanaians for endorsing the party with his new song, “Kpoyaka”.
According to Samini, Nana Addo was the number person to be the president of Ghana, and no one else because he was born to be in power.
Reports then came out that the musician took a sum of GHC 500,000 from the NPP in order to make such a song for them.
When the news hit the ears of Ghanaians, the musician ended up receiving more backlash.
He then came to explain himself that the reason he endorsed the party was not because of money but rather, he believed in the president’s capability of bringing success to Ghana.
Looking at all that is transpiring, one may think that the musician’s career could die if the NPP does not win the upcoming elections.
Coming back to Kuami Eugene, he took to his Instagram page to post a photo of a young lady, wishing her a happy birthday.
