Famous manager of Shatta Wale, Bulldog, has come out to lay down a controversial statement concerning Shatta Wale and the president of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
According to him, Shatta Wale is bigger and more popular than the president. He made this known during an interview on Okay FM with Halifax Ansah Addo.
He continued saying that it is due to the way entertainment personalities are able to pull more crowds more than the president is the reason why Nana Akufo-Addo can never come close to Shatta Wale.
Shatta Wale is known to be the CEO of the Shatta Movement Empire. He was able to win Artiste of the Year at the 2015 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
He gained more popularity when he released “Moko Hoo” with Tinny in 2004. During those early stages, he was known in the industry as, “Bandana” where he was able to earn a nomination for the Ghana Music Awards.
As the years came by, he adapted the name, “Shatta Wale”, after the name, “Bandana”, went missing for a while.
He then began releasing music under his new name. He has been able to win lots of awards and nominations and as of now, he is considered one of the best musicians in Ghana who has been able to carry Ghana outside.
His recent collaboration with American singer, Beyonce, in the music, Already, made a lot of success for him and this even pushed Ghana to a new level.
Nana Akufo-Addo, on the other hand, is the sitting president of Ghana who should at least be known in lots of countries. One may consider that being a president would mean that one can be known more than a musician.
However, looking at what Bulldog is saying, one may think that Shatta Wale indeed is more popular than the president himself which puts Shatta on a different level.
