An angry mob has lynched a suspected armed robber in Nigeria.
According to eye witnesses, the suspect was caught in the early hours of Thursday morning by angry mob while trying to carry out illegal operation.
“There have been lot of breaking into shops, houses, and stealing has been bedeviling the area for a while now.” a witness said.
In other news, two suspected armed robbers have allegedly been set ablaze in Calabar, the Cross River State Capital In Nigeria.
The incident is said to have taken place at Parliamentary by Ikot Efa junction, on Tuesday, October, 20.
Eyewitnesses say, the suspected robbers who were then using a motorcycle , were chased, caught and set ablaze by angry mob after they went to rob around Parliamentary Extension axis.
A social media user identified as Diana Mary Nsam who spotted the burnt bodies while driving, called on relevant authorities to evacuate them, while condemning jungle justice.
In other news, A 30-year old woman has been strangled to death by her husband in Polimako, a suburb of Pusiga in the Upper East Region of the country.
The suspect, Yakubu Hamidu after carrying out the dastard act attempted to take his own life by cutting his throat with a knife which attracted the attention of some of the tenants I the house. The body of the deceased was sent to the Bawku Presbyterian Hospital for autopsy to be conducted by the facility.
These jungle justices must come to an end one time.
Innocent people die as a result of this.
