Cristiano Ronaldo Tests Positive For Coronavirus

Cristiano Ronaldo has tested positive for coronavirus and has been axed from the Portugal squad.

The Juventus forward played for his country in their last two games which are a friendly match against Spain and then France in the Nations League.

Both matches ended goalless with the Juventus Star playing an instrumental role in each game.

But now the 35-year-old is out of the match against Sweden tomorrow night.

Ronaldo tested positive for Covid-19 on Tuesday but he is showing no symptoms.

According to reports from Portugal’s national team’s camp, he is now self-isolated with the national team in touch with his club Juventus for his return.

This would not be welcoming news for Juventus as manager Adres Pirlo is looking forward to continuing their winning performance in Serie A.

In March, Juventus Defender Anotnio Rugani tested positive for the virus and Ronaldo openly discussed how dangerous the virus is whilst ensuing his support for his teammate to recover.

Juventus are unbeaten in all five matches played in the league and are sitting on top of the table with 15 points.
