Manhyia Budgets $30m For The Construction Of Kotoko Stadium

Asante Kotoko’s dream of building their own stadium has received a massive boost after Manhyia Palace secured $30m to help finance the project, according to media reports.

The source of the funds is yet to be disclosed, nonetheless, it will soon be released to the club after the current investigations being carried into the club’s recent dealings are done.

The construction of the stadium is said to take up to five years to complete.

Manhyia is yet to decide on the location of the stadium despite the club’s big land at Adako Jachie.

Reports say that, part of the land have been sold to people due to the club’s lack of care on the property.

However, According to information gathered, Manhyia and Asante Kotoko are still deciding on where it will be built – whether to compensate those occupying the land or find a new location for the project.
