Ghana’s case count for the novel coronavirus is now 4,700, President Akufo-Addo has announced.
The country’s recovery count has also increased to 494.
Meanwhile, the number of persons who have succumbed to the disease remains 22, as of Sunday, May 10.
Ghana’s COVID-19 cases are confirmed in 13 of its 16 regions, with Greater Accra alone recording over 80% of the cases.
As of Sunday, 9.30 pm, Ghana had conducted 160,501 tests and with total infections of 4,700 and 494 recoveries. The number of people who have died at 22 deaths.
